G-Force;

There are 3 potential donor units, so I think you can get something, unless it is a rear lower corner. Just be aware. Shipping from Canada can hurt! (but we have options too!)Wink

You might need to remind the wandering minds if we forget.Innocent

Mike or Jeff,

Any news to report on the extended cab?  I've been waiting eagerly!

Earlier I wrote:

"the direction I am thinking of going is to widen the back of the cab, either by using two cab backs and cutting them both past center, with a single seam, or by sectioning and widening the back and having a double seam up the back. This would probably work better on an S series with a single back window since the rear glass could just be cut wider."

I got a closer look at my S 120 over the weekend.  (It's still 1 1/2 hours  from home).  When I held a straight edge on the door, I was a little surprised to find the door is curved from front to back.  So the panel behind it will need to continue that curve.  I think your approach is going to work out best, even though it will make the roof a little more difficult.

That was one thing we looked at as well. Nothing new at the moment. Dealing with cold weather, and space restrictions. More as it comes available.

I thought you told me that Merritt never gets cold or wet. Time for coffee and some abuse at your favorite coffee shop.

As I posted else where, you need to light the heater in the shop, and quit depending on the DVD of a fireplace! Innocent

I have been doing all the work I did not get done at home all fall. Now I have no choice. Nearly done though, and then I will go to the shop and whip the slackards into some new work!

As far as my trucks not fitting in the shop, next improvement is to raise the roof!

Besides raising the roof, you might need to extend… the back wall to fit the L?

The L is fine, Lloyd, but that Wedge Deck trailer is taxing the space without the door open, as is the KB-8. Surprising enough, the trucks are all able to get inside without taking the wheels off, except the Load Star, but I refuse to cut them in 1/2!

You were going to send a pic to me of the part. Need that to determine if we can spare the piece you need. I will PM the email add now.

They will not open, you might need to just list the page link and he can see them that way. I have tried to post pictures from other sites, they look like they are there when I post but the links will not open, they just keep cycling and can freeze the computer.

I was able to get the pic to show finally with copy and paste into the browser. The problem is, you are trying to copy links from another area on this site, and having OLD IHC in the address will not let that come up. Go to photobucket to get the direct link in the future. Use the green "tree" icon to place the link into so a pic will show here.

This is what you wanted me to see, right?

The good news is, I would have a couple of good pieces that will replace what is cut out in the pic.

I will still need you to email me some dimensions of how much of the area you need, and discuss shipping etc.

I forgot to get dimensions while I was at the shop. But the panel is no more than 8" wide by 4" tall. Is this something you may have? I would be happy to pay shipping. Should fit in a USPS priority flat rate box or envelope for around $5. Let me know. I would like to get the cab in order this month. Thanks!
