Hey Ya
Yesterday Sat.14, I went to a Sled Pulling contest here in ZellwoodFlorida and I got to say it was very impressive, The Florida Antique Tractor Club was throwing it and it was a two day event, They had pullers from all over the place, That's probably why is was so cold these past few days, cause I saw tags from Canada,Ohio,Michigan, N. Carolina they brought the arctic winds with them But what surprised me was how many Internationals Tractors were there and I tell ya they wooped everybody's asss , they took down the Ford , they spanked JohnDeer, and handed Massey Fergison his walking papers They were Sleepers just waiting to woke up and to show their true Power,When they came alive Man oh Man , yea when they were just pulling the light loads they just putted down the track and always pulled to the limit and when it came to the finals and they loaded up the Sleds, These old International got up and Roared like a true Beast that they are brought cold chills down my spine they spanked them all Now don't get me wrong there was some awesome trucksand surprising lawn mowers and Mules. It was pretty Kool to see these Big Ole Boys on these lawn mowers pulling a sled because they be leaning alway foreward on them to keep the front end down on the ground and they even had wheely bars on them too

nice pics! i'd like to a 6 cylinder IH some day…but for now i better get my super M going!
i've read that IH had some troubles with the transaxles when they first upgraded to the six cylinders; too much power for what was essentially the same transaxle used on the four cylinder tractors…
my super M will have an engine from a 450 so should have some extra power…

Looks like a lot of red power in action. Did you drive your nice blue IH pickup down there? I would expect it to get a lot of attention!

it was pretty kool and yes a lot of Red Power out there, To be honest they were the only ones I was interested in getting their Pic. and as for my old Blue , Rob the president of the Florida Antique Tractor Club came up to me and asked if I would be interested in bringing her up there for the next show, they would put up a barrier around her and place her up front for the spectators, I woulds have drove her but had already taken the rear brake drum off and had Ray separate the hub from the drum so right now she sitting on jack stands. I guess through out the yrs I just had never paid that much attention to the tractors and this time the Old Internatinals caught my eye

You can see some righteous tractor pulls on RFD television. Lots of 'Red Power'. Them boys put some serious $$$ in their tractors. The 'un-limiteds' are almost frightening, what with 4 or 5 engines.
