OfflineI purchased a late '50's A-162 International truck this week but no paperwork came with the truck. The truck's serial number is: A162SA69236. Can anyone tell me what year the truck was manufactured by decoding the serial number?

Offlineif you look in the FAQ section to the right of the page, i think there is a link on how to get the "line setting ticket". this is the "blueprint" from the factory for your truck and includes a boatload of useful info.
they can be obtained thru several IH vendors such as super scout specialists, or direct from the wisconsin historical society.

ps: the further you go back in the fifties, the less likely there will be an LST. they could not find one for my '56 for example, but for an "A" i'll bet they could.
