I have some questions about the controls in a KB-2

I just bought a 1948 kb2 over the weekend so I can work on restoring it and I have a few questions about it. I was looking at the pullout buttons and I noticed one says gas, and another says panel. I was wondering what these two buttons do. Also, where is the starter button at on these trucks? I found the clutch and brake pedal, but there are two other pedals. I assume one is gas and the other is the starter button but I don't know which one is which.

The starter kick button is located above gas pedal. Brake on right, clutch on left. Little button on floor on left is the "brights" for the head lights. Normally you would turn on ignition and step on starter button to start. I think panel is the gauge light and gas is choke I believe. Could be wrong mine still in pieces...

In my KB 6, panel is the lights at the instrument gauges , and the gas is linked to the carberater so on cold mornings you can warm the engine up with out your foot on the gas .
