Hood springs

Hood hinge springs. I am searching for new hood hinge springs for my 1949 KB1. Not having much luck and hoping for an alternate spring.

Thanks,
Bob K

Re: Hood springs

I wonder if any of these springs might work. I suppose you could phone and ask for spring strength or something.

The double arm hinges look similar to IH.

Re: Hood springs

Thanks Nik. Other than the length and width of the spring, the tension would be most important. I really have no idea how to check that. Hoping someone on this site may.

Thanks,

Re: Hood springs

I make the hood springs out of stainless for the K/KB 1 to 5. They are the same dimensions as the factory ones.
