Isn't that video from April 24, 2016? Just not this spring.

Going to install the original rear bumper , that has been re-furbished like new and remove the bed crown.
My son like's Harvey 100% stock. (with exception of colors)
Easy enough.

Stay safe, well and able - sm

I'm sure it will look great. BUT - it also looks great now. The passion that you have for your truck is very present in those unique wood elements. It does give us the most pleasure, though, to please our kids. When they enjoy something, in which, you have invested so greatly, it makes everything even more worth it.So- enjoy the new, "old" look of the the truck.

Thank you pk!
I made the huge ( to me ) decision to sand down the shine and go with a patina and scratch look, I did a test
area wet sanding. easy enough and it looks pretty darn good. Think I'll even addin in a few additional custom
scratches.
Thought about this for a long time , it will give me something to do this winter.
Little green paint dust under the fingernails to supplement the dirt from my victory garden. :)

You all be safe.

I am developing a process , samples with photos will come soon..
A matt finish I think will look nice, I have done similar when converting a hi gloss
wood finish into a to satin with great results.
On the truck it will be a matter of rattle canning the clear finish in small areas,
likely one fender at a time in small bites
I have seen this done at truck shows but not quite with the results
I want for Harvey.

Reminds me of a story;
Farmer Greenjeans take his blue ribbon prized pegged leg hog to town,
a gentlemen walking by asks , whats with the peg legged blue ribbon prized hog?
Farmer says when you have a blue ribbon prize hog like mine
you don't eat it all in one sitting..

be safe, take small bites - sm
