Look at what found me at a barn sale

FC853F07-8D05-4BF4-9E16-324412D41700.JPG

The builder passed away about two yrs ago. The widow has sold the house and out buildings. The family came to town to clear out the barn. Hiding behind a fence was this LRS back half trailer. The leaf springs are still there. The son who helped build the trailer around 1965) told me that the straight front axle under it came from a ford truck and I believe him. It’s got the wide 5 pattern (5x5”?) A little battery cleaner on the 7-way RV plug and the lights now work great. Needs some fresh rubber. That’ll be easy. The bed is in remarkable shape for the Midwest. Just some small perforations around the spare tire mount and a small patch near the gate on the floor. The extensions for the gate are with it as well. I can’t imagine what you’d need all of that height for, but if I ever do I’m ready.

Happy Boy here.

No kidding! I can’t imagine why he felt the extensions were necessary. I have all of them though. Even the ones for the gate. I suppose I could slap the IH bed extensions on the truck too and load up some sheep too. LOL

Standard bed sides were 19", IIRC.

Not nearly enough if you want to haul a horse, or a cow. Might work for pigs, I dunno...
