Safety lights

I saw this ad, maybe someone could use them, great price. Anybody know what they might be for??

I can't sat for sure but I think they would have been used facing back on the boom frame of old wreckers. Probably sold as accessories to be used on winch bumpers etc. I have something similar in looks and age that I'm going to use as a back up light if I can find a six volt bulb for it.

Goggle PER-LUX lights, should tell you all you need to know. They were common on heavy trucks in the past, kind of a combo fog/driving light, with the louvers to prevent glare to on-coming traffic.
Were made with either clear or amber outer lens.
I had the amber rectangle style on my 9670, I had them alternating when hauling oversize and steady burn for fog duty.
