Looks like the short windows in the pic. If it has two rear windows, I believe it will have the short door glass. Others may have more info.
Looks like you have a project. Have fun with it.

Re: My new R180

Knew there'd be a problem. Carrier says it weighs way over the 7000lbs estimate and cannot be hauled..... Ive already paid everyone! :-(

Re: My new R180

I had the same problem when I had my 1936 C40 shipped. I had already paid for the truck based on the shipping estimate. In the end, shipper had to find someone else that could handle the weight, and it cost me twice as much to ship it as they originally quoted...

Re: My new R180

I would guess between 10K and 11K empty.
My one K-7 with just a stake bed (steel bed) weighs just shy of 8K. My other K with oil field bed weighs about 11K

The chassis cab only weighs 5400 no way that dump bed setup is 5k

Re: My new R180

As a kid my dad taught me how to change tires on the few that came into his shop. While in college I worked my way through freshman year changing truck tires and occasionally I'd have to change the tires on an old split ring Dayton wheel. A couple of the guys at the shop were scared of them, fearing any wheel with a split ring, so I got to do the lions share of them.

With the 180 being similar in spec's (engine, trans rear axle and GVW) to the K series, I think 5.4K would be light. The values I gave on the K's are actual weights weighed on multiple scales, all agree.
A all steel dump with steel sides and hydraulics are going to weigh, and if it uses a scissor type lift, there is the sub-frame.
If you get it home, I'd be interested on what it weighs out at.
When I was buying old trucks, I was fortunate, I owned my own flatbed trucking company, and all I needed was a dock or to pay a tow truck to lift it up onto my flatbed to bring it home. I must admit, I spent more money doing that kind of trucking than I should have. I would get a paying load outbound and try and fill the trailer with partial loads coming back, but it still cost me.

I will be too. I was going off the Wisconsin history site. And if I'm going to drive it in NC I'll have to have an accurate weight on the tags....

I'm never done creating more problems for myself!

My way of going after them, I was never concerned on what the weighed. The Dart oil field truck was the heaviest, although incomplete, no aux trans or rear axles or suspension and it still weighed over 13K

do you have a semi for hauling these? And nc is very picky about weighted tags
