Re: politic on the board

The big picture is that the Democrats will push their agenda even more in the House. It remains to be seen if the new ones elected will work with the other side or just fall into lockstep with Pelosi, hopefully They will elect a leader that has common sense?

I imagine they will fall into step with Pelosi. I am afraid that the days of working across the aisle are gone.

Re: politic on the board

We are saddened by the passing of the forty first president of the United States. I believe he was a true statesman and an example that inspired thousands to public service. A look back at his life of service and calm nature is a stark contrast to what is happening today. RIP President G.H.W.Bush. You will be remembered, as a gentleman, by your neighbours north of the forty ninth parallel.

Re: politic on the board

I just read the locked thread. That was super civil child play compared to my other car club that banned all politics. Heck they can't even elect a BOD for the club without going off the rails. That being said, we're bombarded with politics in every life, this is my escape and I'd prefer to leave the dumpster fire behind. But If you all wish to have a political thread I'm ok with that, I just won't post in it.

Re: politic on the board

As long as it is civil, I let this one go on. Though I disagree with some posts, it is our right here in the United States to express our opinions. I do caution others from other countries to be mindful that They may not be getting the "whole" story and casting stones could go both ways.
I read all posts and everything here has been mild. It will stay that way. As with anything posted on this whole forum, it is a persons choice to read/comment or not. Always interesting to see what others say.
