Rear Bumper KB-3

My grandfather ordered his KB-3 from the dealer with a rear bumper add on. I am restoring to original. I think I found a rear bumper but no brackets. Has anyone fabricated brackets that would share their method/specs :m03104: with me?

Re: Rear Bumper KB-3

If it were me, I would consider finding either the early Ford or Chevy brackets and adapting. Maybe a used set from Ebay to try out. I actually sold the set I had along with the bumper a few years ago and don't remember the shape well enough to help, but I know they are made from spring steel and not something you can fabricate easily. Good luck, Bob

I had made rear bumper brackets for my K- from old K model leaf springs. A torch to bend the shape and some very good drill bits to drill mounting holes
