The repair for the front of the box was easy. I used my
MILLER plasma and a straight edge to cut the offending metal away. The same plasma machine and straight edge cut off a piece of 16 gauge steel and I butt-welded it to the original bulk-head and then to the lower front of the box.
A good start is to take the box out for metal cleaning so it is easier to see what you will be dealing with. I use,

That box looks really good and may be one of the best I have seen.
