Flywheel Timing Mark
I pulled the fly wheel off the motor that I am going to be installing soon to get it resurfaced. There are three indexing pins at the back of the crankshaft to locate the fly wheel and after it was off it occurred to me that there might be more than one position that it can go back on and that the timing mark would be off. does the timing mark (ball) line up in the window when the #1 cylinder is at TDC on the compression stroke?
I'm going to need a way to make sure the fly wheel is right before I put the clutch in. TIA for any help with this.
