If your not doing a 100 pt. restoration Edlebrock makes a nice cable with a metal knob that does not look all that out of place in these trucks for around $17.00 and change. I get them at Auto Zone but they are available online too. Another method if you have your original knobs but the wires are broken is to buy the cheaper generic choke cable for about $5.00. With a little patience you can un-crimp the metal shaft of your old knob and slip in the new wire and re- crimp and solder it along with using the metal sheath portion of the replacement cable.

I have all the oriinal knobs its just the cables are seized up and what not and ultimetly even tryin to free them with pb blaster and what not didnt seem to work. So figured itd be better to just replace them. Also noticed the spring for the gas peddle etc. is missing anyone know one that fits or what it was originally???

I stopped using what not decades ago. What not does not work.
The outside of the Bowden cable looks like wound wire, because that is what it is. I am not familiar with PB Blaster, but, I assume it is similar to WD40. If you can take the Bowden cables out it is easier to work on them.
After making the outside of the cable wet with your PB, flex the cable to let go PB in between the wound outerwire. Try to push /pull the inner wire.
I have recovered really bad looking Bowden cables this way. It always works. Take your time. Don't waste your PB by using too much. If it is dripping off, you are wasting product.

Cable conduit, in bulk: https://www.stens.com/295-006-galvanized-conduit

Control cable, cut to length: https://www.stens.com/295-055-inner-wire

This is how the dealers used to make new cables for these application.

I second Nikki's approach, I have done this a few times and it has never failed me.
