which direction does this piece of weatherstripping go??

got the rubber kit from Restoration Specialties for the S-100. I'm installing the door seal on the top and back edge of the door outer opening. The seal is an "L" shaped piece of foam rubber, with the bottom side of the "L" fits into a 3-sided channel on the cab. Having not disassembled this truck myself, my question is, does the taller side of the "L" go toward the outside of the door opening or towards the inside of the door opening?
If the seal is installed so the high side is toward the inside, it would have a better chance of sealing tight to the flat area on the door perimeter.
If is installed so the high side is toward the outside, it would fill in the crack better between the door and the cab, possibly keeping water out better along the top on the door.
I think it would probably work okay either way, just curious about which way IH might have done it originally. Does anybody have an opinion or an original S with any door gasketing left?
Thanks, DonO

It goes high out. I had the same question and someone on the forum sent me this picture as a guide. Hope this helps.

As I looked that this door seal question more today, installing the high side out works well to integrate with the quarter round seal RS instructs to mount on the top and front edge of the door.
On the vertical latch side of the door, I'm thinking of trying to find a length of "double humped" foam seal to get the best of both worlds. The Metro Moulded Parts, Inc. business is not too far away from me, might have to drive over and checkout what they have available. Anybody ever done business with Metro Moulded Parts in the past?
