My dump also was not working properly until I filled the reservoir on the top of the lift cylinder and then it worked great. used a heck of a lot more fluid than I had thought it would though. I think I added close to 2 gallons.

The truck driver said it's under 9k. I haven't weighed it myself as it needs some things before I go driving around. Were you able to add fluid with the bed down?
