:yay: :h0212: :t0213: She's finally home. runs and drives great! We couldn't get his 40ft trailer into my driveway so we unloaded in the street and I drove her in.. Here's the video proof. (sorry she's revved high, I got so excited I forgot to shift.

Brakes work good, so funny to have power brakes on something so old. I love the heated mack mirrors LMAO! Maybe I can find a way to put an IHC logo on them. I also noticed that the front wheels have the lock ring and the rear wheels don't. Unfortunately shes got a bad oil leak on the exhaust manifold, making it hard to breathe while driving. Also the dump cylinder doesn't work. The PTO engages and spins, but no lift. I checked the cable and it is actuating the hydraulic switch but no go.. That should be a fun project. I love it anyway. :t3717:

Vin troubles already. So there's no plate inside the driver's door...but there is one in the dump bed...could this be it? Anyone know how to get the paint off and it still be legible?

The rears are lock ring also, the lock ring is on the inside (center).
Not at all un common for power brakes on a medium truck, All the K's of that weight class have them.
As to hoist, 1st check the hyd fluid level. :t0130:

Re: My new R180

look at the front left frame by the front spring hanger, for a number STAMPED into the frame.
Many have the res in the top of the lift cyl. If that is the case, there will be plug on the top of the cyl, fill it with the cyl all the way down.

Re: My new R180

12093 is stamped right there where you said it would be and it matches the number on the Connecticut State registration and the bill of sale. I'd still like to clean up this old Vin tag do you think maybe a really light coat of paint stripper? Also why in the world did they mounted outside instead of inside.
