Cab Heater for 52 L110

It seems my fan motor on my heater has given up, I had a voltage reducer on it, but that burned out. I tried the motor directly with 12 volts and it won't turn. What replacement fan motor are you using that is 12 Volt?

Do a search at the top of the main page for : 12 volt heater motor This should bring up a couple of threads and references that you can check out.

Actually I went that route for a while, and read all of the threads that came in through about 7 different wordings of the search. Somewhere I must have missed where it said the part number. I remember once, about 5 years ago someone had listed a Napa Part number, but I couldn't seem to find it in my searching. Honestly, I just suck at searches, and I had hoped someone may just have the info I was looking for readily available somewhere. No worries, I will figure it out or modify it to something else.

Looks to me that I need a 1/4 inch shaft, and what I find per recommendations on here is 5/16. After talking to several parts places, and my research online to compare, it looks like a replacement 12 volt motor will be a PM 354, which I ordered from Oreilly's. I pick it up on Tuesday and then can be sure. They said it should be $29.99 + govmt share. I will let you know what I find.

Re: Cab Heater for 52 L110

well, turns out my motor wasn't bad, the ground wire was chewed in two by a rodent. Motor works fine, but I still installed my new 12 volt motor. So.. Anyone need an original 6 volt blower motor? PM Me if you do.

The 12 volt PM 354 took a few small modifications with a dremel to the end of the shaft, and the bolts, but that was simple to do and everything went back together smooth.
