Wiper Blades

I put the new windshield in, now it's time for wiper blades. Does anyone have a replacement brand and part# for these?

Re: Wiper Blades

Mike did you use the cord method around the rubber gasket to get the windshield in? I’ve got that looming in my near future and have been wondering about it .

Re: Wiper Blades

Hey Terrell! Yes I did along with a spray bottle of soapy water and a friend helping. We took our time and even with the preparation we we're done in well under an hour. Although I have installed them before this video was worth watching as it has some good tips. The one I liked the best was using a caulking gun nozzle to insert the rope into the gasket, that detail used to take me awhile, now, zip and its in!

Re: Wiper Blades

I haven't been able to find blade refills in a few years so now I just buy a new long wiper arm, steal the blade out of it and trim it to fit my arms.

Re: Wiper Blades

Try Dennis Carpenter Ford truck parts, look to be a close match to original. Work good on my S truck.
