The "G" in "AA1G" means governor.

THanks Jon , I was searching for a rebuild kit and it poped up 150 bucks , thought it to be a decent price , said it was new no box . Will the plunger in the accelerator pump handle the ethonol ? Also said it was for a 361 red diamond . will it need new jets ?

Re: Holley carb AA1G

There are a number of different type AA1G carbs. Several different gaskets, different accelerator pumps, jets, etc. I THINK (not positive) that all of the fuel valves are the same.

To know for certain, you will need to check the Holley Master Parts Book bill-of-materials for your carb, and the carb the kit fits.

As to the accelerator pump: if leather, yes; if synthetic, no.
