Grocery getter

Used the truck for a Costco run, last weekend.

Very good! That is a great vehicle to get groceries, particularly bulk items from Costco.

Was the step behind the rear fender an option on the R120? I don't see it on all the trucks but quite a few I see with that step bolted on. I can see it helping stabilize the rear fender. Sometimes the rear fenders get stress cracks from the rear fender wobble.

The rear fenders should have a minor bracket/brace. The bumper is not original. While a heavy bumper like that will handle a major impact without damage, it will transfer the energy into the truck. The frame and fenders will be damaged. A hard hit can damage the cab mounts. This. Moves everything out of place.
The OEM rear bumper looked similar to the front bumper.
If this were my truck, I would scrap the big bumper.
