I have a 4x4 s120 and was just wondering what the obvious differences are between the rarer factory 4x4 and the more common conversion?

International made a ton of S series 4x4, most likely factory,

Look to see original bolts and rivets, or oddball mixed bolts,

IHC built their own 4X4 Light Line trucks at least as far back as the 1953 model year "R" Series.

IH had a long history of building 4X4 tactical vehicles for the US Government, specifically the Navy & Marine Corps.

You might be thinking of the Ford with Marmon Herrington 4x4 conversion or the Chevy/GMC with Napco 4x4 conversion.

Napco also converted some Studebakers and some Fords.
