Motorola Radio

I am trying to determine the model name/number of the Motorola radios used in late 50s/early 60s International trucks-the type that is fastened to the cab roof and has the speaker inside. I just bought one from a member and would like to find a schematic.- Stickman 207

Re: Motorola Radio

I can't find a model number anywhere on mine. The power supply is a model PS-82.

Are you planning on repairing/using it as a tube radio or swapping the guts out for solid state?

Re: Motorola Radio

Thanks for the tip. I found that one on Ebay over the weekend and ordered it. I plan to restore it to original, Dilton. Thanks to both of you for the input.- Stickman207

Re: Motorola Radio

Dilton- The model # is inside inscribed on a vertical steel plate. I will get back to all with the model #.- Stickman 207

Re: Motorola Radio

I was just corrected by the guy I bought my manual from -the model number is 94MIM, not 94M1M. This radio is for the 1959 A model.- Stickman 207

Re: Motorola Radio

Wow, can't believe I missed that, although it looks more like a serial number. Mine reads "Motorola 19236". But my power supply was fastened to the roof of the cab and the actual radio in the dash. So a different set up than the picture for the 94MIM.
