I've never seen this parking light set up before, anybody know anything about it?

Re: weird R grill,

two different grill's, but haven't seen one like it. To find two means they must have been made. Trying to remember what used a trim ring like the one on the 2nd grill right side? Can't remember.

Re: weird R grill,

It made me think of Roadway and CF tractors, when the aero type headlights came in, the Volvo andother brands used either rectangular or replaceable bulb headlights, but when they were ordered for either of those two fleets came with 7" round bulbs installed instead.
SO where is this leading?
Could it be for a truck ordered by the military? Those lights look like off the shelf replacements, something the military would like.

Re: weird R grill,

I think that odd bezel is something someone placed there when the original was not available. No one noticed the hood is an "L" and the grill is an"R". Is that an "L" hood emblem on an "R" hood?

Re: weird R grill,

When I enlarged the 2nd pic, altho it gets pretty fuzzy, I'm PRETTY sure I don't see a steering wheel on the L. side, and I'm a little shaky on this part, but it almost looks like there could be one on the R. side. If so, maybe this was a mod that IH did in England or Australia, or some other country.
Does anyone else see what I'm seeing ?

Re: weird R grill,

I think Nicky has it right. Both headlight buckets have changed for lack of not being able to find an original or to cover up rust. In the second picture the headlight over extends down in front of the parking and turn signal lights and isn't attached to the fender.

Re: weird R grill,

Yea, once I blew up second pic, it almost looks like a motorcycle primary just placed on the headlight.

But first pic has me puzzled,

I think I'll have to ask him to remove ring to see what sheet metal looks like
