Window Crank?

Hi Guys,
I have a 1952 L130.

Before I put "mader" to sleep in the fall, I ended up breaking the window crank on the drivers side. Is there a parts search location on this site, or while we are talking here, does anyone know where I can find one?

by the way, nice day here in MN today. Took her out for a quick ride today!

Re: Window Crank?

Can you describe the crank? There is more than one style.

Ferbs:

I have a yard here in town with numerous '50s -era Internationals (1/2, 3/4, 1, 1.5 ton, Fire Engine). I'm headed there on Friday (9 Mar) to collect a bunch of odds/ends parts I need. If you don't have a lead by then - let me know and I'll pick one up for you. Post a picture in the meantime for a good match.

I see this is late, working too much and then kids! They are the best and worst part of every day!!!! Here is a picture. I understand if it's too little too late. If anyone has a window crank like this, would appreciate it!

Re: Window Crank?

Ferbs - looked over a bunch of old tucks last time I was there and only found the rounded out ones - not the ones with the ridges.
Sorry about that!

Re: Window Crank?

Did you find a crank handle for your truck? Do you ned the eschusions and stainless sleeves? The pins can be just about anything that will fit. Please let the forum know in a follow-up post.
I am surprised that no one has an IHC handle, on your side of the border. The 1940 Ford Delux handles look the same as the IHC handles. Check Dennis Carpenter and/or Bob Drake Reproductions.

Re: Window Crank?

Did you find one? I was just in my garage hunting for some brake parts and came across one with the ribs. I only have one but I could not tell if it was the left or right side :)
I have no use for it, all my trucks window cranks are smooth. So, it you are still looking for one, post a reply here, and PM me and we can go from there.
