Sid is a great guy. He doesn't drop many IHC axles, though.
IHC front axles are beefier than the "big three" offerings and therefore require more heat and force to drop. Sid called my K series front axle "an experiment".
If you cruise Youtube you'll find guys who drop their own front axles. I made a jig to do that. I can tell you that the heavier IHC front axles empty out oxy acetylene bottles pretty quickly.
