Dropped Axle S Series

Anyone know of a dropped front axle for an S Series? or one that fits from another vehicle?

Sid is a great guy. He doesn't drop many IHC axles, though.
IHC front axles are beefier than the "big three" offerings and therefore require more heat and force to drop. Sid called my K series front axle "an experiment".
If you cruise Youtube you'll find guys who drop their own front axles. I made a jig to do that. I can tell you that the heavier IHC front axles empty out oxy acetylene bottles pretty quickly.

sid did mine on my 50. 3" was max he would do.

What'd he charge you to do it? if you don't mind me asking. any pics of the finished product? or how the truck sits now?

I believe it was $350 plus the shipping both ways. I dont have the sheet metal back on the front yet. Just got the motor back in with the turbo kit and finished the firewall. Not sure how to post picts since photobucket decided to charge $500 for an account. Does anyone know an alternate website?

Took me a while to figure it out as well. Sounds like a cool build. cant wait to see the end result.
