I don't have a line on any for sale, but there are professional rebuilders out there that you could send your unit to for service. I'm not offering endorsements here, just a few examples of outfits I've come across:
www.thecarburetorshop.com----------in Missouri
www.carburetor-parts.com-------------in Washington state
www.oldcarbdoctor.com----------------in N. Carolina

Hope that helps a little..........

I tried to go to the sites, as I too am looking for some carb work.

I have taken your links and deleted all of the dots. When you click on the links as they are, the computer don't know where to go and will send you to a search.

Trying to make it easier for us old folks.

Re: carter yf carb

I rebuilt my Carter YF and it had no weights inside.

The Carter YF is available as a rebuild as well as parts for most cases. You should call them and have photos ready to show what you need.

You could also install a Holley single barrel unit if you can't find the YF parts you require.

Re: carter yf carb

Some of the very earliest of the Carter type YF carburetors DID use the small ball with the square weight on top as the pump discharge check valve. Due to the location of the valve, lots of these carbs got turned upside down (not in a pan) and the ball and weight were lost. The ball did come in the rebuilding kit, but the weight did not.

Other of the early Carter type YF carburetors came with a square brass pointed needle (several different were used, because different engines required a different mass).

Carter's solution to the lost weight issue was to supersede ALL of applications with the weight and ball with the single square brass needle of the correct mass. This item should be in the repair kit you purchased.
