Rockauto is great, but the rear shoes are out-of-stock.

Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Re: Need 1953 R-130 rear shoes

you can get them relined at any brake/clutch supply house if you can't find new, as long as they aren't worn down into metal

I use these guys close to me, google can find one close to you, or mail them out

Another excellent suggestion. But I have already re-lined the shoes myself once, want to have an extra set.

extra set for what? you have relined shoes in your truck, but want a set for on the shelf in the garage?

try craigslist someone parting a truck and buy the rear axle.

Re-lined them once, now worn out again, do not want truck out of service for extended period while I source linings, clean and paint shoes, wait for epoxy to set, etc. Want to be able to reline at leisure and swap out at need. It's a work truck, not a show truck.

Re: Need 1953 R-130 rear shoes

Back again, still looking. Now have dimensions for rear shoes, 14" x 2 1/4", and also NAPA P/N SS63, and Raybestos P/N 63PG.

Was told by local IH truck dealer parts man that there is a place in Wisconsin he could call if he had the IH P/N, which (he said) can be found in IH parts book MT-97

Anybody have an MT-97 book?

THANKS!
