Universal joint S100

I think the u joint for the S100 is a precision 506 it is a winged u joint Does anyone know where It could be purchased.I have not had any luck finding this part.When I went to the driveshaft place here I was told that it would be hard to find.I think he maybe correct.He did call a manufacturer and was told that he would be able to make one for $187.00 plus shipping. Please let me know if they are available. Thanks

They are available - Napa has it for about $55. I think I saw it on Amazon also when I was looking.

The "506" is not for stock applications,it is to convert the Mechanics 2C joints round bearing to Spicer 1310. The round bearing OD is larger and it uses external snap rings.

For the stock U-J you want one of these;

LWT / Low Wing Threaded / Round bearing ~ ISR ~1" bearing OD

SOMETIMES a deal can be found on RockAuto. That 508 Moog is shown for about $35, shipping included.

Which U-J is determined by it's location,a stock truck with a single drive shaft will have one of each. I forget which is the front/rear and didn't note it in my cross ref. list since those pn's have multiple applications.

$35 is a good price,Napa wants $52+ so if it's the correct one...
