L110 ammeter gauge replacment

Does anyone remember a post sometime ago by a member that replaced his ammeter with a voltage gauge in the quad instrument cluster? I was interested in doing this while i have my dash apart if possible.
Thanks, T

Re: L110 ammeter gauge replacment

Terrell - Sorry for the slow response, but that may have been me. It was a project I was working on over the winter but haven't yet finished due to warmer weather projects. Not only am I replacing the ammeter with a voltage meter but replacing all the gauges in the cluster with new technology, including updated senders. The main focus is newer technology and updating to 12 volts. I'm quite comfortable with ammeters and 6volts, as I've had that on my tractors for years, but thought while I was making changes it would be a good time to get the high current out of the cab.
