Hello, I'm new to this forum. I have a 1950 L-110 in restoration process, saw old dialogue in this forum on L-110 emblems. Is anyone producing replicas by now? I'm in need of two.

I am thinking that someone has not read this thread from the beginning. There is lots of great information in the thread.
I would like to add the possibility of using 3D printing to make the badges then using spray chrome for the bling. I am not going to baby-sit this subject again. Use Google Search for subjects. It really works. 2295
Like I have often said, "make it your own by making something." I have made two subjects bold so anyone can find them.

I still need help, still nothing on L-110 when I do search. Is there anyone in this group that has these or know where to buy?
I will try nikkinutshop suggestions ( 9-16-20) as well.

My 2 cents, Have had great results with a good chrome shop, and they were pitted, headlite rings, side and front chrome stuff and hubcaps before they were reproded, I thought they looked as good as new.

Here is an idea. IHC used stamped stainless steel emblems on their 1969s COE cabs. I have several sets. Not for sale!
These badges came in two scrips. I used one badge on an airfilter cannister and I used another on a custom made toolbox for the "R" I used to have.
I have more pictures. If I find them I may post them later, or not. 2955

Whenever I go to the NSRA Street Rod Nationals, my grandson and I go by the Haas Machine display inside. They have a CNC machine [I think that's the term] that cranks out billet [stainless steel, maybe?] "spark plugs" you can hang on a keychain, and it's one of the more popular indoor exhibits.

So I believe that if someone knew what they were doing with a similar machine, they could crank out stainless L/R/S "Series" emblems. You could start with bar stock, then drill them and screw the locating pegs into the back of them. In fact, using the 2 from the 120 series, you could crank out "phantom" emblems for the 111/112 series [121/122, 131/132, etc.]. If they also reproduced the INTERNATIONAL emblems, they might find a market that would make the effort worthwhile.

But until someone actually makes the emblems, 3D printed plastic emblems may be the best we can hope for.

That would still beat the hell out of the original pot metal that corrodes and develops "zits" under the plating...

I know a few people who are looking for parts to reproduce,

I think the INTERNATIONAL and side model logos would bring most bang for the buck investment,

someone talked about repopping KB grill trim, but is cheap enough to buy existing, $8 to $20 for 10", not worth tooling costs.

I looked at repoping windshields, take thousands just to set up, then have to get $700-$900 each, not viable,

but clean show quality L-110 logos can bring close to $100 each, same with KB-1,

people are always asking for them on FB pages
