Casting around on Rockauto this morning and saw that they have a rebuilt Hydrovac for the A120 for $217 with a $200 core exchange. That's a great deal.

They might have them for other models as well- worth a look. :t3909:

if you don't have to have it look exactly like the original these are on ePay, and no core charge,

I put one of these on the frame under my L-112 panel truck, made a huge difference, had to fab a bracket for it, and plumb vac lines, but pretty straight forward stuff.

HOW did you come up with that one Jon??? U can tell just by looking at the pic ot's a 4th series made for a medium duty truck, way too much for a P-U. The models listed have 2" bore MC's and 8 1-1/2" bore WC's.

Hydro-vacs aren't rocket science but there are reasons there were so many different ones. The bore of the slave cylinder + the bore of the MC are the first 2 factors with the wheel cylinder bore and number then added to the equation. You shouldn't just go willy nilly and use any old one that comes along.

Well, I probably shouldn't have linked that particular one as THE ONE.

it was more for example, the one I put in was listed for Ford 1 ton,

since my panel was listed 3/4 ton, And I was hauling 1500-2000 LBS. of tools in it,

I can and I did.
