factory AC

I was talking with a friend today and we were wondering what was the first year that IH offered factory installed AC as an option. Anyone out there that can answer that? I am talking factory installed, as I am aware that any dealer could have done that just about anytime beginning in the '50's. I am guessing that it would have been mid sixties?????
