I need 12" wiper blades for a 53 R series. Does anyone know of a source for them? Thanks, Dan

Probably a bit spendy if that's all you're ordering, but I ordered mine from oldinternationaltrucks.ca

Re: Wiper blades

Check with O'Rielly auto parts, I got my 10" blades from them.

Re: Wiper blades

Problem with new blades that are supposed to be right, a lot of them give you an adapter to allow their blade to fit your arm. On my Scout 80 that makes the effective arm length too long and the blades on my Scout 80 hit the windshield frame with them. MM

Re: Wiper blades

I've bought the Anco blades and they are NOT designed for the R130 I have! The PLASTIC adapters work on
MODERN vehicles ONLY!

Re: Wiper blades

Don't know if you have one but I had to order my wiper blades for my 53 R series through NAPA auto parts. Perfect fit.

Seems the Canadian NAPA stores don't carry this listing so I'm looking elsewhere. :t10512:

Re: Wiper blades

Looks like there has been sufficient research for the wiper blades, but does anyone have a source for the wiper arms to go with the blades? The old one I'm using as a reference is a Trico and Trico no longer makes arms. Anco doesn't seem to have arms, at least not via their website. I assume I'm using the correct arm from my L-110. It is 12" long from the center of the spindle to the tip and the tip makes a shallow "U" shape. Is there another vehicle that would interchange? Is the 12" length correct and if not, what is the correct length? Anybody had success with a shorter or longer length? I've tried my usual sources and come up blank, but I have to believe there is a viable replacement. The spindle shaft is a 1/2" splined type. Surely these are available somewhere. I could put the old ones back on and use them until a replacement surfaces.
