Has anyone ever used Restoration Specialties before? what does a complete "rubber kit" come with in all?

Re: Parts

Ethan, I've ordered from them and even talked with them at Daytona's Turkey Rod Run. Good folks. Actively making seals for Internationals when few others do. Make their own stuff. Located in Pennsylvania. I think they have an 800 number, a website and an e-catalog. They bailed me out on window seals for the twin back windows on my L-110. My original order for the rubber set was from travelallparts.com. They arrived with many of the plastic bags having come from Clesters (a mfg. of rubber seals). Once the back window seals were put in, the section where the two ends (on each window seal) had been joined (vulcanized together), distorted beyond what was acceptable. Not wanting to get a duplicate set again, I ordered from Restoration Specialties and once they were installed, look great.

It's a little difficult to see in the photo, but the window seals have a narrow place at the bottom of each window. The seals I ordered from Restoration Specialties did not have that distortion and turned out great.

Re: Parts

It just occurred to me I didn't address your question accurately. My apologies. "Complete" rubber kit usually means all of the window seals, door seals, cowl seals, hood seals and bumpers, etc. However, "complete" may mean different things to different suppliers. It would be best to contact the supplier and find out just what they include to make the kit "complete". Sometimes their catalog will tell you what you need to know and others won't. A phone call is the surest way to get the knowledge.

Re: Parts

Please let us all know what you discover. I will need two "complete sets" nd it might be a better idea to buy the sets now rather than wait and risk availability issues, later, maybe.
Very timely post, I appreciate it very much.
