My old truck is coming along fairly well. however I am still in need of a few parts such as; Original type wiper blades, and a decent seat base (the driver side is badly damaged, and the springs are worn out.) I'm hoping to get these parts soon as I would like to get the old girl moving under her own power to get inspected and licensed. My wife wants her side of the garage back. If someone knows what or where I can get the blades then I can deal with the seat later. Thanks.

I already have a pair of the ones they carry, but these do not fit without major mods to the arm.

I've been down this same road.
I bought the ones from rockauto and they would not connect to the L shape wiper arm. These are made for a strait flat arm

I came across a pile of 11" stainless steel wipers, and bought them all.

Some are not useable (bent rubber wiper part) and some are really decent.

What I like about these they have a screw terminal on them.
I don't know what the originals look like since mine were missing.

With my wipers, the housing was fine, they just needed new rubber. So I bought a new large wiper at an auto parts store that looked to have the same shape, and was able to cut the rubber in half and have enough for both old wipers. Might be an option for you.

I had trouble finding blades too. My parts guy recommended that we try Scout 80 blades. Ordered 1 and it worked perfectly, so I ordered another one. They were kind of expensive, but now I think that I can just replace the rubber part next time.

What type of ends do you have? Are they the strait flat, L shape or the U shaped hook?
Any Pictures?

I could part with a pair if you'd like.

Mine have the U shaped end. And if you think these are hard to come by, you should see my other cars, 3 1952-'54 Austin A40 Somersets
