Delux oil filter housing info needed
Trying to get my old Binder running and I'm come into another stumbling block. I have an SD240 freshly rebuilt but I don't have an oil filter housing that will hold oil. Both of the units I had were rittled with holes when they came out of the bath.
Here's what is left after I removed the housings.
While taking them apart I noted that the one on the left had a second fitting in the bottom of the housing with an orifice that was about a 1/16" in dia. The one on the right had a small hole drilled into the side of the base nut for the return tube. Again the hole was about 1/16" in dia.
Can anyone offer up info on these two units and if one may be more desireable to use than the other? I will say that the one on the right is a confirmed Deluxe filter unit and was installed on the SD240 when I got it. My gut is telling me that neither of these are "full flow" filter housings.
Thanks,
Jake
