New Toy wiper blades

I'm passing on some information that may or may not be well known. In continuing work on my New Toy, I started work on the windshield wipers. I already knew they were 12" and they wouldn't be real easy to come by.
My grandson was helping me today and reminded me of a local auto parts store named Merle's. The local store has now been purchased by Napa. At any rate, they had a refill blade in stock, 18", but was really close to every other way to the IHC's blade.

It even comes with the same stainless steel nut and screws to replace the originals.

So after taking the blade apart and used the pieces from my blade and cutting it down to 12", it remounted with no problem and works well.
Hope this little tidbit of info will be beneficial for someone looking to replace their 12" International Harvester wiper refills. Also, there's probably someone else with info the 12" blade replacement.

The finished blade.

Good find, thanks for sharing. When you can't find exactly what you want, you make something else fit!
