I suppose the cam could be installed one tooth off from the crank, but that would also throw valve timing off.


I tore down my remaining SD 240 today..... saw exactly what you mean. Forgive my hard headedness!

The best investment I made was 100$ pertronix electronic ignition. It is put in place of your points and uses your original cap.
