Ignition Switch

Any recommendations on a good quality ignition switch for the R112? Part #? I left a message with Ron Francis to see what they have.

It is very likely the OEM used these COLE HERSEE now known as Little Fuse.

Re: Ignition Switch

Thank you. the 95060 shows no mention of 6v. I assume that switch will be fine with my 6v though?

Re: Ignition Switch

on my 1953 R110, I have the original keys, they say 'Dominion Lock Co' (but my truck was made in Canada, not the US)

Re: Ignition Switch

Those keys may be recut keys. Cole Hersee was/are also in Canada. I have bought Cole Hersee here more than a few times. Dominion Lock and Key are Canadian locksmiths.
Google it.

Re: Ignition Switch

This is more like the switch on the L-series...key positions are accessory, off, on...no spring-loaded start position, because the push button on the left side of the dash did that.

That push button makes a great anti-theft device for those who ONLY know how to engage the starter from the key.
My posts contain my own opinions...your mileage may vary, void where prohibited, objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear, and alcohol may intensify any side effects.

Re: Ignition Switch

I'd say the Pollak 31-159 is probably as close as you could get. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ignition-Switc ... 1492486893
