Headlight inquiry

Have a ‘51 L110 and want some lights for it. On the “Parts” post, a recommended headlight measures 7” but no longer in stock. That is also the measurement of on the headlight buckets. So, I’m new to this...a 7” sealed beam light will actually fit into a 7” headlight bucket? Just want to hear from someone who has some experience in this since I do not.

Re: Headlight inquiry

I’m eventually working to a 12V system. I saw summit had an alternative sealed beam lamp... https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wag-h5006?rrec=true

Re: Headlight inquiry

You want 7" round, either 6 volt if that is what the truck is running or 12 volt.
Choices are Halogen or not, sealed or H4 conversions. End of story.

Re: Headlight inquiry

Link functions on my iPad on this end. It is a 7” sealed beam light offered thru summitracing.com...same as parts link offers only an item that is currently in stock.
Here it is again if you’re interested in pursuing.
