Rock Auto shows Raybestos H2538 for the left side kit, and H2539 for the right side kit. Look under '65 D1100.
Can this be added to front brakes also ? Can a dual piston cylinder be used in front rather than the stock single ? Would the brakes be better with the dual up front ? By the way, I am working on a 50 l110.
A couple of things and this is just my skewed point of view, How many miles a week, month, year are going to put on this truck? Both my old 51 and my current 56 do not have self adjusting brakes and for the mileage I put on I don't miss it a bit. The beginning of each season I check the adjustment and they don't need much if any in the way of adjusting.I probably average 1,000 miles a year.
Secondly if you have the stock six and factory gearing your truck will not overpower the brakes as they came from the factory. My 56 has a fresh brake job with factory spec. parts and a hard jab to the pedal will lock the brakes up. If you do modifications to increase the speed of the truck then the brakes may not be up to the job.
These are just my preferences but I thought it worth mentioning.
