Anyone know where to find these and the speed nut?

FASTENAL
I think you can do better than that hardware. Try some regular 5/15" bolts and nuts. that bolt thingee is a large metal screw or a small lag bolt.

Re: Fender bolts

I agree probably the smart move is convert to machine thread. Bolts and clips are widely available. But if you are like me and prefer to keep things as close to original as practical and not always do things the smart way, I found a pretty close match. J&T Fasteners don't have a web presence but they are carried at some local auto body and paint stores. Ask for JT 620 speed nuts and JT 519 tapping screws.

I am so not like you, when it comes to fasteners. I doubt Old IHC would use wood screws to secure fendrrs. It is your project. Do what you like. Just because you found this on your truck is little or no indication it is OEM.

This is what you should be looking for. It is a 5/16" fine thread. Do not forget to use never seize.

So not like me eh? I'll ignore that for now...

The photo isn't great but these look like wood screws with a much "flatter" thread. Anyway there was one in each spot with a speed clip. I managed to find 3/8 fine-thread speed clips and got bolts and large washers... Not original but neither is the rest of my build.
