SD220 Clutch Torque Spec

I can't find a torque spec in my service manual. Just says to tighten securely. Do any of you know what the torque spec is on the SD220 clutch to flywheel?

No, but I would just use the std torque spec for the grade and size bolt used. If the spec is hard to find, chances are it doesn't vary from the std torque for the size fastener.

That's a nice chart to have. I'm going to print that and keep in the shop.

Another clutch question. The service manual says to balance the clutch and flywheel using the markings on each of them. Neither the clutch or the flywheel have the markings the service manual references. The clutch cover flanges don't have any markings at all and the only markings on the flywheel are what looks like a G on the clutch side and numbers with an H on the end on the engine side. Manual says the flywheel should be marked with an L. Any input here?

The clutch was rebuilt by a different shop than the shop that rebuilt the engine and cleaned up the flywheel.

In all my years I don't think I've ever seen a clutch and flywheel marked. A lot of manuals say they are supposed to be, but I've not seen it, unless you mark it on disassembly to put the same clutch back in.

Well I didn't mark it on disassembly so should I just shoot in the dark or do I need to pull the flywheel back off and take it to someone to figure out?

Re: SD220 Clutch Torque Spec

flywheel was originally balanced at the factory, not gonna be out of balance enough to make a difference on these motors,
