New look for an old truck.

I humbly submit to you folks, the results of the recent work on my truck. This pales in comparison to the work executed by most of you guys; but, I thought, why not share it anyway. I replaced the old cracked bed side boards with stake sides I made from oak. I finished them with black walnut stain, which I will dry flat, to match the look of the truck. The old ones were 30 years old and broken; so, I needed to do something to replace them; as, I didn't want the hay falling out of the truck.

The side boards look great I love to see old trucks still working and earning their keep!

Don't "humbly submit" when you know you have done a great job. I like the side-boards. They look totally farm. IHC made and offered as options box side risers for these trucks. I have seen pictures, only. Every so often an Old IHC pickup, from Saskatchewan, is offered for sale and the truck will have the sides.
