Re: Oil pan help

I don't think so, would be a winner at that price, but the 220-264 is the part number Dorman uses, not the application. I don't think the small six has that "bump" in the side of oil pan

That absolutely will not fit his truck, even says so on ad,

price it right, but only thing he could use it for is a planter,

Re: Oil pan help

I may have one. Count the number of drew holes in your pan.

Re: Oil pan help

I meant screw holes. Specify across front, down sides and across back.

Go Yanks 1- I sent you a PM. Based on what Bedrock John said, I am sure my pan would work for you.- Stickman 207

Re: Oil pan help

Maybe Cornbinder or Bedrockjon- can weigh in- the oil pan I have for sale is off a later BD tilt valve engine; maybe it was an industrial or combine engine. The oil filter setup was different than on my original Black Diamond. The BD oil pan is deeper at the front and would not clear my front FWD driveshaft so I had to use the one off the original engine which bolted on perfectly. I don't think the deeper pan area at the front would be a problem for a non-FWD but I could be wrong. The one for sale does have 220 stamped on it. Stickman 207

the bolting surface and bolt holes should be fine, a deeper capacity pan will still bolt to the original block, but like you stated clearance can be an issue with 4X4

Re: Oil pan help

Here's a picture of the bolt pattern. Notice the bottom of the pan with the repairs I made and how rusted it is. It passed the leak test though but not sure how long it will last. There were quite a few pin holes in it

Re: Oil pan help

If that material can handle the heating and cooling of the engine I think you will be fine.
