Thanks! You should see it now after restoration, looks like new, but I will admit, I started with a very good base. The original owners were father/son, and the son was an auto mechanic. I am its third owner/caretaker. Sometime when the snow finally stops I hope to get an image with the extensions into the gallery, but I like the way it looks without them better.

I prefer the look of my truck without them too, but when I need a load of dirt or it's moving day, you can bet they're goin' back on.

I was able to come up with another photo of that L160 COE that was at the show on Saturday. That truck is a real beauty and that's a lot of truck to be hauling a Farmall Cub Cadet.

The quote that was along with the photo:
"Shes been one piece at a time. 72 Freight-liner sleeper ( I think) built on a class C motor home chassis with a 350 Chev. engine. 400 turbo transmission. (Just a driver.) The tractor is a 47 Cub Cadet with its own chrome stacks. We did most of the work other than the diamond plate. Took three years to build and still some minor stuff to do."

I have a desire for a similar truck minus the sleeper and maybe a bit more robust driveline.

I was saving the cans to sell when the mortgage was paid- sold about 1/3 for $85, rest should go when the weather gets warmer... The real story is the water tastes bad so I drank soda and got to wondering how much value in aluminum cans would be processed by one person in a 15 year period. :t1812:
