I haven't seen the visor yet like the one on the yellow truck yet. Please keep this
thread on its coarse. Sun visor info only, dont like sun visors, fine. Don't post about it.

Re: Factory one piece visor

The visor on the yellow truck is a Peckat visor. I bought one just like that on ebay to put on my 57 S-120. The nice thing about that visor is that the two ends clip onto the rain gutter. The bad thing about that visor is you need to drill 4 holes on the roof above the windshield for the center mounting bracket. Hard to find a Peckat sunvisor that has all the hardware pieces still attached.

Here is some pictures of a tan and white S-110 that I found on the internet. The truck has a Peckat sun visor and was the inspiration to make me want to add a sun visor to my truck. I repeat, this is NOT my truck (although I wish it were!) Does it belong to anyone here on the site?

Peckat Comet Sun Shield is the one I want. I wasn't aware they made another model. It's stainless and aluminum, nice look:

Re: Factory one piece visor

Thanks for the link Kevin, image anybody that handy with metal work could make that for a gmc fit anything. Does anybody know anything about the green painted visor I posted? There is 1 thru 8 on the bottom side, as its adjustable for different cab sizes. Can't find any other info.
