Re: 1940(ish) international

Gonna have to pass on the Nash. Before 1960 is all I can say. Never seen one of those...
Are these vehicles for sale?
Four door cars aren't always the most popular but they have lots of good parts on them.
Someone could make a living selling cars and parts right there. Don't mess with the locals--go directly to ebay and Hemmings. I understand Hemmings is the best for locating non-computer-savvy older customers with $$$.

Re: 1940(ish) international

Just the 55-57 chevy stuff would keep you busy for awhile. You gotta advertise ebay and Hemmings.Gotta inspect each vehicle to see if it's worth more intact or in parts and which way do you want to go.
There's going to be a steep learning curve for you.
What I do if I don't know is go on ebay to see what other people are selling it for.
As far as cars go there's a hierarchy of values for any mdel. Convertible, 2dr hardtop, 2 dr post,4 door.
With conv being the most valuable model.
Certain cars like the 55-57 chevs will get people's attention quick because there are so few in wrecking ysrds to pick over.
You need a local car-enthusiast mentor that you can trust to help you. Someone with a broad understanding of old car values.

Re: 1940(ish) international

the Nash is really cool. i like that a lot. my guess is it is amount 1955 or 1956. course i have always been a fan of oddballs, and especially Ramblers and their ilk. never owned one though.
